I had already tried the hot air balloon flight and it made me want to extend it with an ULM.

The experience is quite extraordinary, much more physical, with very strong sensations.

The accompaniment of the geese, which fly as close as possible to the ULM, gives a magical side to this moment.

They are magnificent, fascinating to observe and so close that you can even touch them!

Everything went like a dream, with a very professional and welcoming team ensuring that this unique experience took place in the best conditions.

We always thought that one day we too could fly with the birds.

I had a wonderful experience that will stay with me forever. Flying with the geese, touching them, stroking their legs in mid-flight, sometimes a few feathers, was a real joy. That of the child within us.

Once upon a time there was an aerodrome…. no, that’s in fairy tales!!!! and what I experienced is very real….

So, ….. somewhere in Cantal there is an incredible place: an aerodrome that looks like all aerodromes. but what makes it unique is that, on certain days, early in the morning, you can see: humans bustling around, microlights spreading their wings and boxes in which geese cackle impatiently.

This Thursday at the end of August I am preparing to rise into the skies of Coltine to make my dream come true: flying with geese.

Cassandra installs me on the seat of the ULM and does what is necessary for my safety. She reassures me with great kindness. Indeed, I had confided to him my fears and this vertigo that paralyzes me and ruins all my plans to gain a little height. Camille, after taking care of the passenger in the other ULM, asks me if I’m ok and also gently reassures me.

The engine is running, the ULM takes off and, suddenly, THEY are there, near me. I exchange a look with one of them and the emotion overwhelms me. I have a thought for the Little Prince “I believe that he took advantage, for his escape, of a migration of wild birds”.

From that moment, my body froze and my brain was overwhelmed by emotions, it was limited to recording the images that my eyes were sending to it: very particular sensation, almost a second state, a little out of time. I think I had the chance to take advantage of maximum conditions: residue of fog associated with the beautiful light of the morning. I also learned: behavior of geese, effect of light (Brocken spectrum)…..

Mr MOULLEC, thank you for allowing me to live this exceptional experience. Thank you for wanting to share this happiness with other people, thank you to your family and your teams for helping you realize this project.

Regarding my flight, I am particularly grateful to you for having made a second pass over the Château de Sailhant, my vertigo having bothered me a lot during the first one.

Long and beautiful life to all, humans and animals.

Pure moment of happiness, magical moment during which time seemed to be suspended. Thanks to Christian Moullec for this magnificent flight carried out on August 7 in the company of the Barnacle Geese. My only fear was the noise of the microlight, but the presence of the birds immediately made me forget it, and I savored every moment. The icing on the cake, the wonderful sunrise over the beautiful landscapes of Coltines and its surroundings.

Congratulations to Christian and his wife Paola for your magnificent work and commitment to migratory birds. Thanks also to Corentin and Camille who attended the Christian floor. I often dreamed that I was flying with geese.

They passed over me, at my side to have their bellies stroked. I loved this complicity, this naughty and mischievous look that shone in their eyes and that seemed to tell me: you see, I fly faster than you….. And then suddenly a voice in my ears: so you don’t like it anymore? we’re going back… No, I didn’t dream. Thanks to Cédric for his knowledge, his professionalism and of course without forgetting the two charming young women on the ground for their kindness, their friendliness. I’ll never forget. A beautiful way to mark our 60th wedding anniversary. THANKS.
