Access : Coltines Airport – Saint-Flour – Cantal 15 minutes from the A75. From St Flour: take the D926 towards Aurillac/Ussel, then turn right on the D14 and follow the direction of Coltines Airport.
The service lasts three hours on average: preparation and inflation of the balloon, flight, landing and champagne. You will participate, if you wish, in the preparation and inflation of the balloon which is always a moment of wonder and surprise.

The wind will decide your destination. On the ground, our team is ready to follow the trajectory of the balloon in radio connection with the pilot. Migratory birds come to meet you with the MICROLIGHT. From your flying balcony, you can admire the agility, the grace, the power, the beauty, the fidelity of the birds. They are at the same height as you, you really feel yourself to be a part of their world. The birds accompany you for a part of your balloon flight. You continue your flight, blown by what you have just seen. Upon landing the happy passengers experience an immense joy, delighted by this incredible escape.
Since one happy event never arrives alone, to celebrate your aerial baptism “Fly With the Birds” offers you a glass of champagne
and the passengers are given certificates by the pilot and their team to seal the friendship.
ENVIRONMENT :
The planèze of St Flour is a protected site classified as a NATURA 2000 zone. The village of Coltines with its typical market town and its Auvergne museum of agriculture.
Perched on a volcanic headland, Saint-Flour, city of art and history, cultivates its mountain character with audacity and modernity. At the crossroads of the Margeride, the Cantal mountains and the Truyère gorges, its natural attractions, prized by nature sports enthusiasts, compose striking landscapes.
Halfway to the south, Saint-Flour is also a privileged and lively city. The largest volcano in Europe is still active, its sources, the hottest in Europe, spring at Chaudes Aigues (Occitan word: “hot springs”).
